A brief narrative description

This research study was to learn more about children’s experiences of violence and thus generate a better understanding of the factors that influence or perpetuate the phenomenon and the kind of child protection system that would help children and families in Bhutan. It was designed to provide robust, evidence-based primary and secondary research, and to create a platform upon which to conceptualize the policies, strategies and programmes to effectively prevent and respond to violence; and guide the development of a comprehensive and sustainable national child protection system for Bhutan.
